Welcome to Lake Fork.  Lake level is - 3.o4 below full pool and surface temps is 68-70 degrees .The bass are spawning all over the lake.  Just had a pink moon and more have showed up.. Our best bitte has been shallow 2" to 7.. V&M  Pork Shad and Chop Sticks fished wit a 3/16 oz. tungsten weight have been good, Also a wacky worm and a neko rig working. Their will be some top water and swim bait action soon. March was a very windy month here this year.

Welcome to Lake Fork  Water level 1s -3 Ft. and surface temps are 61 to 64 degrees.  Time is here  and there are some bass starting to spawn  mostly on upper end of the lake.  There was a share lunker weighing 13.68 on Sat. February 28. First one of the season. Lot of bass moving very shallow now and it's about to get good out there!  Senkos, wacky rigs neko rig jig and chicken rig with creature   bait and drop shot working.  Now is time to get your Spring dates booked. Fished solo today on Fork with Gary Herrall on a high sky cold front after all that high North wind yesterday. He let me fish with him and we put 17 in the boat. Cold-Front Offshore Bite on Lake Fork

Welcome to Lake Fork. Lake level is -2.78 below full level and surface temps are 53 to 57. We just got some much needed rain and it will cool surface temps down some. The bass are moving up for pre spawn big time now. There has been some good size bass caught in the last few days.  The best bite is from 3" to 10". Cranks, jerk baits, bladed  jigs and tx. rigs have worked best. I think the spawn will start  a little early if we continue  to have warmer weather. 2/15/26 Report

Welcome to Lake Fork. Lake level is -3.07 below full pool and surface temps are41 to 44 degrees. February is here and it's been very cold the past week here. We are now going to finally get a warming trend going forward.  Here shortly  the bass will start making their way to their pre spawn haunts. First they will get on the shallower water of points  and as the water gets warmer they will make to the fronts of spawning creeks . Lipless cranks. suspended jerk bait, chatter baits and jigs will be the go to  cold water tactics. Even with the lake low there is some grass in the creeks . I look for us to have a great pre spawn and spawn this year. Book your trips soon and get your preferred date. Looking forward to fishing with you! Hopefully we get a personal best. Welcome to Lake Fork.  The water level is-3.10 below full pool and water temperature is 52 to 55 degrees. Not fishing a lot lately because it's  mid January  and trips are slow just like it normally is right now at this time. But been catching them on a hard suspended jerk bait in 10 to 1 5' points on the side of n timber . Later in the morning and afternoons throwing rattle traps  and flat sided square bills very shallow on flats in3 to 4' beside shallower creek channels. The lake is in good shape and it should be a great spawn. Lets get February, March and April booked. Welcome to Lake Fork. Water level is - 2.85''  below full pool and surface temps are low  to mid 50s now after this strong cold front. The drop shot, c-rig and had been working when water temp was 60 a a few days back before this front. Trips are slow around these holidays with very few people on the water. Hope everyone had a good Christmas and wishing everyone  a Happy New Year! Start  booking your pre spawn and  spawn trips with me soon . Welcome to Lake Fork. Surface temps are 61 to 63 degrees and lake level is -2.33 below full pool. Not many anglers on the water right now with holidays coming and hunting season here. The bas are biting pretty good though. I've been catching them off shore i6' to 20' of water. The best bite has been on a drop shot and c-rigs. V&M Slim Wild  has been working well on the drop shot and a creature bait on the c-rig. The spoons will start working as the water cools some more. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving ! Welcome to Lake Fork. Water level is -2.20 below full pool and surface temps are 63 to 66 degrees. Nov. is a great month for bass fishing here with these cooler temps. I'm mostly fishing offshore now and it  has been  pretty good and going to get better.  With hunting season going on there's very few people on the lake lately. Been fishing in 16' to 22' with drop shot, c- rigs and shacky head mostly. The spoon bite will also come into play this month. Would love to earn your business.

11/1/25 Fishing Report

Lake Fork is - 1.75 below full pool pool and surface temp is 78 to 80 degrees. The shallow bite has been pretty good  early. Smaller top water baits when cloudy. The white 3/8oz. swim jig , under spin and 2' to 4' running c ranks have also produced. Mid id morning and  later C-rig and drop shot been good in 12'' to 18'. Book your Fall trip now as the mornings  have been really cooler and refreshing out there.

10/12/25 report

Water level is -1.37 below full pool and surface temps are in mid to lower 80s. With the cooler temps a lot of the bass have moved swallower. Main lake and secondary points in 3' to 7' have been best. Also the front end of the creeks. Top water, tx. rigged flukes , under spins shallow cranks have been producing. Fall is almost here and the bite will ger better the cooler it gets.

Lake Fork water level is -.73 below full pool and surface temps are in mid to upper 80s. with the better grass this year the shallower bite has been the best .The lake will start turning over when temps drop more. The shallow bite will get better. Wacky worms, under spins. and tx. rigged worms have been bet. Top water decent when cloudy. The best depth has been from 3" to 8'  of water . Welcome to Lake Fork. Water level is -.53 and surface temps are 88 to 90 degrees. Not many people fishing right now which is typical here in Aug, But the bass are biting ok and you still can catch a giant out there. We've had decent grass in several areas all year. Therefore a lot of fish still shallower.  Tx. rigged big worms and a wacky rig has been the best bite around these areas. The offshore bite is getting better and big worm, shacky head and c- rig working best. Would love to earn your business.

Welcome to Lake Fork. Water level is at full pool and surface temp about 87 to 88 degrees. The off shore deeper bite is about to get a lot better now that water temps are getting  warmer4. It has been a pretty mild Summer up until this past week. There are sill bass up shallower with the new grass we have this year with the full lake and a decent bite early. But I like fishing deeper these hot months Drop shot, c-rig and shaky head are my best techniques. I'm only doing 4 and 6 hour trips until it cools down some. Not many anglers on the water this coming month either.. But we nave caught some Summertime giants. Would love to have your business.

Welcome to Lake Fork.  l is full right now and surface  temps are 87 t0 89 degrees. The bass are biting pretty good. We're  fishing mostly off shore. The best bite has been in 16' to 20'. The drop shot, c-rig and heavier shacky head.  As it gets warmer out there the deep bite will just get better.

Welcome to lake Fork. Lake is at full level and surface temps are 75 to 77 degrees. The bass are biting good and about to get better for larger fish. The spawn is over and a lot of bass are starting to move offshore.  About 14 to' 16' has been the best depth on main lake points. We're still catching some shallow on secondary and main lake points early and top water bite is good under cloudy skies. There's also a shallow frog bite in vegetation in some areas. On the offshore bite the drop shot and c-rig is best. V&M  Strait Wild worm and Pork Shad are my go to baits. As it gets warmer the deeper bite will just get better. 5/21/25 Fishing Report

Welcome to Lake Fork. Lake level is at full pool and surface temps are are 70to 72 degrees. The spawn is pretty over for the exception of some on the lower end of the lake.  May can be a great month here. The top water bite under cloudy skies can be awesome . Also some shad spawn still  going on fishing shallow secondary and main lake points with hard bottoms. watch for the Blue Herons and they will show you where the shad are active. We will start moving off the banks in 6' to 18'  mostly now.  Drop shot, tx. rig, cranks and c-rigs will be the go to baits. If you need a guide  I would be glad to have you. 5/4/25 Fishing report

Welcome to Lake Fork. Water level is full and surface temps ranging from 69 to 71 degrees. Some bass are still spawning but a lot of them are done now. We're still fishing shallow from 2" to 5" of water. The shad spawn is starting also and throwing at hard body secondary and main lake points real shallow early in the mornings. Shallow shad color crank baits and swim baits. We will also start fishing the shallow shell beds. Fishing has been pretty good lately.  Seen more windy days this year then normal though. Welcome to Lake Fork. Lake is at full pool and surface temps are ranging 6odegrees to 67. The bass are spawning now and have  been for a couple weeks in some parts of the lake. The bite has been pretty good on tx. rigged Senkos and V & M Pork Shads 2' 'to 5' of water. Also catching some on a c-rig fluke.

Welcome to Lake Fork. The lake is at full pool and surface temps are in the mid 50s now that the cold front has passed. This is going to be a great pre spawn and spawn this Spring. Red square bills and chatter baits are working in 3"to 5"of water. Now we will also start throwing Senkos, wacky and Neko rigs in the same depth around spawning areas. Welcome to Lake Fork. The lake is at full pool and surface temps  are now 55 to 57. With this nice warming trend here at the end of February Fork is  about to bust loose.  With the warmer nights and longer days the pre spawn is under way. They will start spawning early this Spring. Right now red square bills and chatter baits are great search baits. A couple more warmer surface degrees. and Senkos, other soft plastic stick baits and wacky worms will be the ticket with these bass pulling up shallow. 2/18/25 Fishing Report

Welcome to Lake Fork. Lake level is full now and it's  setting up for a great pre spawn and spawn. We're on a unusable warming trend right now with surface temps in the mid 50s the past few days.  A lot of bass have pulled up shallower  and the pre spawn is about to begin early especially on the upper end.. Cranking square bills, chatter baits and lipless cranks are working. Stick baits such as V&M Chopsticks and Senkos will work when you c an find mid 50  surface temps. I'm excited about this Spring!  Book your dates now and lets see if we can get your personal best bass. 6 and 8 hour trips are best  giving us more time on the water. But I do offer 4 hour trips also.

Welcome to Lake Fork . Water level is -1.76low of full pull and surface temps mid to upper 40s The February, March and April pre spawn and spawn is right around the corner. With the good water level it should be a real good Spring. Right now the jig,, drop shot, suspended jerk bait, a-rig and chatter bait are good choices in this colder water. Lake Fork water  is - 1.190 below full pool and surface temps are in mid to upper 50s. Hope everyone has a great 2025  new year! The bass are about to get into Winter transition this month I'm now booking for the pre spawn and spawn trips here. They will start moving towards the main lake creeks, points and secondary points to set up for pre spawn. Jek baits, jigs and drop shot will work best in the colder water. Lake Fork is - 2.44 below full pool and surface temps are ranging 56 to 59 degrees. Not many people fishing right now right after Thanksgiving. But I think Dec. is going to fish well.  Been catching bass from 4'to 18' of water. The drop shot, c-rig and jig have been the best bit. As the water has gotten colder we will start throwing a spoon more offshore' The bar fish or yellow bass will start showing up on some of the deeper points and humps and the bass are feeding on them. Don't underestimate the Winter here. Would love to earn your business.

Lake Fork water level is - 2.32 low and surface temps are 74 to 77 degrees Fall is here and fish are biting pretty good. The best bite has been shallow with a lot of bass moving back in the creeks. 3ft. to 6ft.  on square bills, wacky rig, shaky heads and tx. rigs. Mid morning we're moving out a little deeper on secondary and main lake points with a drop shot and c- rig. November should be real good this year. Would love to earn your business!

10/26/24 Fishing Report

1Lkak Fork is - 1 .91 below full pool. Surface temps are 78 to 82 degrees Bass are starting to get into the Fall pattern.. a lot of the shad are now moving to the back of he creeks.  We're still fishing some of the main lake and secondary points. But will start fishing further back in creeks next to channels, The your top water and frog bite will get better and better as it gets cooler. I don't see us having much of a lake turnover this Fall. Usually seeing it by now.  Oct. and November are good months.

10/9/24 Fishing Report

Lake Fork water level is-.76 ft. low and surface  temp is about 89 degrees.  Were fishing mostly offshore in 18' to 24'.  The best bite has been  on a drop shot and Carolina rig.  V &M Slim Wild and Zoom super fluke has best baits. If can get some cloud cover early a top water will work also.  I'm only doing 4 hr. and 6 hr. trips this month in this extreme heat. 

8/16 /24

Fork is .19 over full pool and surface temps are 87 to8 9 degrees. The offshore deep bite is getting good now. We're fishing mostly long points in 17'to 22'. Drop shot, big shaky head and c-rigs working best. I offer 4,6,and 8 hour trips. But with the extreme heat I suggest the 6 hour  for extended trips instead of the 8 hour full day at this time.  But we can do any of them. Would love to earn your business.

6/25/24 Fishing Report

Lake Fork is a little over a foot above full pool.  Surface temps is about 86 t0 89 degrees  We've had a lot of rain lately. They have had some gates open for the past week. It is in good shape and fishing pretty good though. I love it offshore in June and July. We have been catching them on drop shots, c-rigs and big shaky heads.  When we have good cloud cover the top water has worked well.  These two months will produce some big one also. I would love to earn your business!

Lake Fork is a little above full pool right now. It just keeps raining here lately. We're still fishing shallow right now. Top waters when it's cloudy working well. Which May is always the best month for these baits. Also Senkos and flukes fished weightless around flood grass has been good. We will start moving a little offshore within the next week or so on shallower humps and shell beds with drop shots and c-rigs.  Would love to earn your business.

 Lake Fork is at full pool and surface temps are 62-68 degrees. The bass fishing has been pretty good. We're still staying very shallow. The bass are in all different stages right now. Some have spawned and a lot are still spawning. Weightless Senkos ,flukes have been working well. Also catching them on a Neko rig .  We're getting a lot of rain right now also. The topwater bite will get good soon as the surface temps reach 70 degrees. Walking type baits and swim baits will work well as the shad spawn should start soon. 4/9/24 Fishing Report

Bassmaster Elite Pros just finished up a 4 day tournament here on Fork. The top 10 qualifiers fined today.  All 10 anglers caught over 100 pounds in  4days. Which was a record high in Bassmaster history. Fork is alive and healthy. With the Later Feb. warming trend the are moving shallow fast and it will be a early spawn this year. Lake Fork is full and we're going to have a great pre spawn and spawn this Spring. Bass Champs derby was here yesterday. They fished a windy and North wind cold front. There were 3 fish over 10 pounds caught which was great. Going to have warmer weather now also for about a week and a half that I can see ahead. Ok folks the Lake Fork bass have started moving to the shallows for the pre spawn now. You need to book your February , March and April pre spawn and spawn  trips now. 2/13/24 Fishing Report

Welcome to Lake Fork. The lake is at full pool right now after all the recent rain. Surface temp is 49 -50 degrees. The bass are working their way to the shallows  Red or orange lipless crank baits are choices to throw right now. Mid way to the back of the creeks are target places. Also points, drains and  secondary points. Another good bait is a suspended jerk bait. We will start throwing plastics as the water warms a little. Don't underestimate February for a giant here either.  Now is the time to book your February, March and April pre spawn and spawn trips now. I think this will be one of the best spawns this Spring that we've seen in a long time.

January is a transition month here on Fork. Very few trips this month. We've just had a very hard freeze here. But the lake level is in good shape at - 1.70  low and surface temps are 47 to 49 degrees which is very cold.  Moe rain coming next week and the lake should be in great shape for the pre spawn and spawn. Book your Mid Feb., March and April trips now while you still can get a preferred date. Water level is -2.63 low and surface temps are 7 to 74 degrees. The Fall turnover is just about out of here and the fishing is about to get good. Right now we're fishing relatively shallow. Texas rig and drop shots have been working the best. I'm also about to move out a little deeper as the clarity is getting better, I love Late Oct. and  Nov. Summer bass fishing

Lake Fork water level is -.63 off full pool and surface temps are 95 to 97  degrees. Trips are slow due to the very hot temps but the bass fishing is pretty good. Top waters early then we're moving offshore. 18 ' to 26' on long points and humps has been the ticket.  Big worms on shaky heads, drop shot and c-rigs the main techniques.

Lake level is -.40 off full pool and surface temps are mid to upper 80s. The bass fishing is fair and the hotter it gets the better it will get especially offshore. This year I think July will fish like June normally does. We're basically just fishing offshore stuff right now. 15' to 22' ft. on long points, humps and roadbeds. The C- rig using a creature type bait in Green Pumpkin. Also a big shaky head with a V&M J-Mag worm in Red Bug and Plum Apple. The texas rig with a 3/8oz Tungsten weight around brush piles using a 8.5" V&M Wild Thang in the same colors. If we have clouds a top water walking bait will work around the shallower cover early in the morning. With this extreme heat I'm offering 4 hour an 6 hour trips. Water level is -.85 low and surface temps are 83 to 86 degrees. The Summer bite is picking up We're starting out shallow around bean trees and flooding grass with a weightless fluke and also a Vixon topwater walking the dog with it. Mid morning moving offshore 14ft. to 20ft. on humps, roadbeds, long points and ridges. Carolina rigging a V&M Pork Shad in Outlaw Magic color. Also throwing a V&M Wild Thang in Plum Apple and Red Bug on a Excite heavy shaky head. Also a 10.5'' J- Mag on the same technique. We will use a drop shot too on tough conditions. Welcome to Lake Fork
Water level is - .63 and surface temps are mid to upper 70s. This Spring was one of the most inconsistent ones I've seen since in a long time. Lot of cold fronts in and out with flatulating water level was the main reason I think. We just didn't have the numbers on a daily basis like we have in the past. Good thing is the spawn fry survival rate should be awesome with all the new cover. We have been staying shallow all the way up to now. Lot of fish are starting to move out offshore now finally which is my favorite way to target them. Secondary and main lake points are where to look for them right now. Top waters early shallow on these points will work well. Carolina rig, drop shot, shaky head and cranking are the other best techniques to try. Shallower humps, ridges, road beds and pond damns also.
